Elevation & Windage Turrets
The Venom1-6×24 SFP riflescope comes equipped with capped Elevation and Windage Turrets. This protects the turrets from accidental adjustment while out in the field, in transit, or in storage. You will need to remove the caps prior to making any adjustments on the turrets.

Use turrets to adjust the point of impact. The Venom 1-6×24 SFP riflescope uses a 1/4 MOA adjustment on both the Windage and Elevation Turrets. Each click will move the point of impact roughly 0.25″ at 100 yards for MOA. The turret on the top of the riflescope is the Elevation Turret, which is used to adjust the point of impact up and down. The turret on the righthand side of the riflescope is the Windage Turret and is used to adjust the point of impact left and right.

3. Why might the selector not sit perfectly flush with the receiver?
This is normal and due to manufacturing tolerances in lower receivers. The Atrius design prioritizes function over aesthetics, ensuring secure operation without impacting reliability.

 

COMPATIBILITY NOTICE:

• Certain platforms, such as AR9 variants, may require professional gunsmithing to ensure proper function of the selector lever.

• Firearms modified to “Super Safety” specifications may not be compatible with components designed for our FRS system, as the Atrius Safety Device features a solid lever cam design.

• The Super Safety system incorporates a 15-degree tolerance due to its dovetail construction, which may allow for limited over-travel before the cam surface disengages from the trigger bar.

Selector Screw and Torque Spec: T10 screw, 4/40 thread, selector spring. We recommend 15 in/lbs with blue loctite only.

Please Note: This Atrius FRS will not work with AR-10(LR308)/SR-25 platforms without significant gunsmithing. In the near future we will be coming out with a model specifically catered to these platforms.
