Finish is Black Nitride which is a metal treatment that produces a case-hardened surface. The resulting finish is extremely wear and corrosion resistant. It is also very slick, especially compared to the traditional phosphate finish. This means that all contact surfaces of the BCG will experience less friction and smoother, more reliable function. Easy clean-up of this smooth surface is a nice bonus. The rich black color on these BCGs looks great on the Black Rifle!
